When the cards are shuffled for 500 Rummy and the sounds of family laughter fill the air, the memories that Catherine created with family & friends will be shared once more.

To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - the Dugan Family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the following

Paws and Stripes

Paws and Stripes began in 2010 when Lindsey Stanek’s ex-husband, Jim, faced PTSD & Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). After seeing the impact therapy dogs had on him while he was in treatment, Lindsey pursued getting a service dog for him and soon learned about the difficult and expensive process involved. Insurance does not cover service dogs for veterans afflicted with these conditions and prices range from $10,000 to $60,000 for the dog and its training. Thus, Lindsey founded Paws and Stripes, providing service dogs for veterans with PTSD & traumatic brain injury at no cost to veterans and their families.
