Dorothy Luciano

Growing up in London in the 1930's, Dorothy experienced the uncertainty of the Great Depression and chaos of World War II.  In the midst of it all, she met and married Vincent, the love of her life, and emigrated to the United States to make a new life with him and start their family.

Although she lost her dear Vincent in 1993, Dorothy created new opportunities for herself over time, learning to drive at the age of 66 and using her new-found skill to deliver for Meals on Wheels.  She remained active with friends through line dancing, Sunday game dates, socializing and annual religious retreats.

Dorothy was a resilient and strong woman throughout her life, from her early years during the war to her later years as a breast cancer survivor.  Her love for her family was a gift given freely, and returned in kind by all who were blessed to have known her.
