Frank J. Formichella
Frank dedicated his professional career to protecting his fellow citizens, be it as a gunner in the U.S. Navy during WWII, or his 34 years as a police officer and chief for the city of Summit.
It will be his gentle spirit and kind heart that will be remembered most by all who were fortunate to have heard his stories and blessed to have been a part of his world.
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - the Formichella Family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the
The Brooke Healey Foundation
The Brooke Healey Foundation was created to build awareness and raise funds to research Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare, inoperable, and very aggressive tumor that only affects children; to help families dealing with pediatric cancers, especially brain cancers and DIPG; to foster community relationships and to promote involvement through scholarships awarded to civically active high school seniors. The Foundation exists in honor of 5-year-old Brooke Healey, who was diagnosed on January 14, 2013 and through her 8 months of treatment continued to smile and bring joy to all those around her.
