Marlene Dodd

Marlene was the first woman to be inducted into the Army National Guard in New Jersey, serving for 3 years in the 3rd Battalion, 112th Field Artillery. Her sense of dedication and commitment were equally reflected in her working career, her love of animals and her personal relationships.  She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by those who shared in her life.

To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - the Dodd Family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to

Eleventh Hour Rescue

Eleventh Hour Rescue is a volunteer-based, 501c3 non profit that saves dogs and cats from euthanasia. The organization is completely reliant on the generosity of caring, over-achieving volunteers who give loving foster homes for animals until a permanent home is found, provide medical attention and help educate local communities about the importance of spaying and neutering. Aside from a small staff of kennel caretakers, all help is provided by volunteers, including the officers.  Donations are dedicated to the caring of animals.

Marlene was a dedicated volunteer at Eleventh Hour Rescue for more than eleven years.  Your donation would honor the time and care Marlene gave and help the organization continue their generous work.
