Robert 'Robbie' Madison

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”  ~ 2 Timothy 4:8

With his faith as his foundation, Robbie lived his life with compassion, generosity and kindness. A devoted and reverent child of God, Robbie transformed his battle with illness into a positive message on the importance of living a life of gratitude and appreciation.  His strength and his faith were clear to all, and he held dear the family and friends who loved and supported him.

While he has lost the battle, he has won the war and gained his crown.  He will be forever missed, and his passion and spirit to help others will live on as continued inspiration to us all.

To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - the Madison/Housel Families have requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the

National Kidney Foundation

The National Kidney Foundation is the leading organization in the U.S. dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease for hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals, millions of patients and their families, and tens of millions of Americans at risk.  The Foundation is currently focused on making the more than 73 million Americans at risk for kidney disease aware of the condition and addressing the 26 million patients currently living with the disease -many of whom don't know they are afflicted - through its early detection program KEEP Healthy.  They continue to sponsor a Young Investigators Forum, whereby innovative researchers in the field are able to present and advance new technologies and therapies to help those patients who are living with all stages of kidney disease.

Robbie never let his illness get the best of him, surviving two kidney transplants and never once complaining about being sick or using it as an excuse.  A donation to the National Kidney Foundation would honor Robbie's heroic fight, and help fulfill the dream that one day a cure for kidney disease will be found.
