An avid outdoorsman, Walter dedicated himself to the protection of the natural lands of New Jersey, where he felt truly at home.
He will be missed by all those with whom he shared his passions of fishing, hunting and softball, and his memory will carry on through those blessed to have been part of his family.
To ensure your generosity and support are acknowledged - and to help protect you from future solicitations - the Trout Family has requested that memorial contributions be made through IN MEMORY OF to the
Belleplain Fire Company
If you would like remember Walter in a special way, a memorial contribution to the Belleplain Fire Company - of which he was a member - would be a living tribute to his memory.
Police unity tour
In May 1997, Officer Patrick P. Montoure of the Florham Park P.D. created the Police Unity Tour with the hope of bringing public awareness of Police Officers who have died in the line of duty and to honor their sacrifices. Beginning with just 18 riders on the inaugural four-day bike tour to the National Law Enforcement Police Officers Memorial in Washington D.C and raising $18,000, Chapter II now represents 250 of 3,000 members who make the trek to Washington DC to honor the fallen. Inspired by the commitment and Motto, "WE RIDE FOR THOSE WHO DIED"®, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund has selected The Police Unity Tour Inc. to be the sponsor of the Museum Hall of Remembrance.
