St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center

Founded in 1939, the St. Hubert Animal Welfare Center is dedicated to providing services that support the human-animal bond and seeks to foster an environment in which people respect all living creatures. The organization operates two animal shelters and an adoption center, along with a nationally renowned Training and Behavior Center located at its Madison campus. In addition to providing help and relief to its shelter animals, it offers community-based services including a pet food pantry, a pet helpline, low-cost spay/neuter of community cats, and a professional education series. Its employees also provide services for local districts by assisting with domestic animals and wildlife in need.

Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish® vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 34 minutes. Make-A-Wish® believes a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides and inspires them to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids they serve.
