Dane Fante
There are too many words ~ and yet not nearly enough ~ to truly describe Dane and the impact he had on so many.
The same holds true with his affinity for animals, which went beyond any single description to a tangible connection he innately had with all those animals who were fortunate to experience his compassion and love.
Burlington County Animal Shelter
With the overwhelming amount of support that has been given in memory of Dane, an adoption program has been developed in his memory to commence October 1, 2018.
About the Adoption Program
With the wishes of the Fante Family and the willingness of the staff at Burlington County SPCA, In Memory Of helped to create a personalized program that greatly benefits all involved: the animal shelter, new adoptive families, and most importantly, the legacy of Dane's caring and compassion.
A portion of the fund was given directly to the shelter to help pay for medications and vaccinations for rescued animals needing new homes.
The remainder of the fund is specific for the adoption program, reducing the adoption cost by 50% for families looking to bring a new member into their home.
The program will begin October 1, 2018 and will continue until the fund has been used. Given the amount of money currently allocated, approximately 100 young to adult dogs and cats will be placed in their forever homes.

These half- page flyers were designed in honor of Dane to help share his story and keep his memory alive.
Each new adopting family will receive one to help spread this new chapter of Dane's legacy.
