Founded in 1967, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Serving more than 600,000 patients through its 40 chapters, the Foundation funds cutting-edge studies at major medical institutions, keeps medical professionals up to date through its educational programs and supports and empowers patients to help fulfill its mission of ultimately finding a cure.
